Kensington Hoops Tournament Set the flat section becomes tooHeaviest of all of our recreational hoops, the Kensington croquet hoops weigh in at 2 pounds of steel each. They are made from 7 16" round steel which is then heated and bent into the square 'U' shape. With a solid 5" in the ground, they still provide regulation height. Their opening of 4" offers a challenging opening but not too close that would frustrate on most backyard surfaces. The heavy steel allows shots to be ricocheted through from an angle.
