An early Near Eastern Cylinder Seal, Jemdet Nasr Period, ca. 3100 - 2700 BCE Tools & Weapons `Masterpieces From The Western Desert`This early ancient stone cylinder seal is incised with a crosshatch pattern, and was most likely converted into a pendant in the late 19th century by adding high karat gold caps to both ends. It has now been modernly strung onto an adjustable 18K yellow gold chain, which can be extended up to 18 inches in length. A truly lovely piece.
